Hey there! I’m Nicole, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who really loves food. I ditched rigid diets years ago and have been living my best life since, and I want to teach you to do the same! I am extremely passionate about helping people ditch diets, so that they can live their best life too!
I’ve done every diet imaginable. My first diet was in grade school. I started counting points, then I did Atkins, then the grapefruit diet, then the military diet, then the eat clean diet; the list goes on and on. Whatever the fad diet was at the time, I was trying it. By high school, I was so obsessed with food and food rules that it led me to having a full-blown eating disorder. I didn’t know where to go to for help and I didn’t believe I was sick enough to need help. I was so embarrassed and ashamed that I couldn’t just fix myself. It was seriously such a hard time in my life. I finally worked up the courage to tell my mom about my struggles and she immediately set up appointments for me with a registered dietitian, a therapist and a psychiatrist. It took a few years and A LOT of hard work, but I can say that I am now eating disorder free for 10+ years. And DANG PROUD OF IT!
Nicole Conteduca, RD, LDN, is a Chicago based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics from Dominican University. After completing her dietetic internship at Dominican University, she worked full-time as an eating disorder dietitian and part-time as a clinical dietitian. In 2019, Nicole opened her private practice where she specializes in general nutrition therapy, disordered eating/eating disorder recovery therapy, and intuitive eating. When she’s not working, Nicole loves reading, trying out new restaurants, traveling, working out, cooking and hanging out around Chicago with her husband Nick and their three kids, Frankie, Adriana and Siena.
